Named due to it’s sawtooth rim profile and engineered for speed, ST/1 uses a carbon fibre rim of 50mm height at it’s greatest depth and 45mm at it’s shallowest, delivering aerodynamic gains with increased stability in crosswinds.
Purpose built; ST/1 was developed for all round riding, both wheels feature fourteen cross sided carbon spokes for torsional stiffness under the most significant loads (drive side on the rear, rotor side on the front), with a seven radial carbon spoke pattern on the opposing side greater facilitating lighter weight. Carbon spokes have been selected over steel counterparts for improved ride quality and performance, with greater power transfer and reduction of flex in sprints a factor of carbon spokes alongside road dampening, absorbing road imperfections for a smoother, more planted ride. Instant engagement comes from our in house 36t ratchet hub, resulting in rapid acceleration with market leading durability.
At 29.2mm wide at it’s widest with a 21.4mm internal rim width, the ST/1 rim is designed for use with 28mm and 30mm tyres for optimal road performance.
